Originally from San Francisco, Megan graduated from the University of Washington, where she earned her B.A. in Linguistics. During undergrad, she assisted in research on Indigenous language documentation and infant language development. Outside of research, Megan enjoys cooking, live music, chilling with her two dogs, and going on Wikipedia deep-dives.
